who made.sex.dolls
I was recently talking to a friend of mine who just got a sex doll. You know the kind, a life-sized adult female doll loaded with AI and special features. We got to talking about where the whole sex doll industry began. Who do we have to thank (or blame) for introducing us to this kind of technology? As it turns out, it’s a pretty interesting history!
The origin of sex dolls dates back centuries, though they were originally made for religious purposes. For example, in ancient Egypt, some pharaohs were known to have used mannequin-like figures carved from wood. And in India during the medieval era, religious followers used to make images of their gods and goddesses out of fabric.
Today, the modern sex doll industry is densely populated with large companies that actually design and produce the dolls. But we wouldn’t be here without small companies and individuals who paved the way.
Believe it or not, sex dolls one of the hallmarks of the modern doll industry was a man named Mario Landi. In the early 70’s, he started experimenting with synthetic materials and the anatomy of the female form. He even made his own mechanical apparatus to make the dolls move!
Subsequently, American inventors Douglas Hines and Matt McMullen made strides in the industry by creating robotic sex dolls with voices. To this day, Matt McMullen’s dolls are some of the most advanced and sought-after products on the market.
Another of the big game-changers in the doll industry is Yuji Hiromoto, the founder of Orient Industry, a Japanese company based in Tokyo. He was the first to popularize the idea of dolls for erotic purposes, and is credited with creating the world’s biggest seller of love dolls.
Hiromoto’s detailed creations became famous worldwide, and it’s his success which is generally credited with making sex dolls a mainstream product. Both orient industry and Matt’s company still make some of the highest-quality dolls on the market. Moreover, it’s said that you can now customize a doll’s hair, eye color, body size, and outfit. How cool is that?
I definitely don’t think that sex dolls can ever replace humans. But they’re inspiring and a testament to human ingenuity and creativity. Ultimately, I think we should use this technology to just bring out a different side of ourselves.
In terms of technology, the industry has progressed a lot. Some sex dolls now come with sensors that react to touch and an advanced computer vision system that allows users to interact with the doll through eye-tracking and facial recognition. There are some truly incredible interactive dolls now on the market!
Talking about cost, you have to be prepared to shell out quite a bit of money for one of these dolls, depending on your budget and specific preferences. But like I said, some fancy dolls can really run up quite the bill!
I’ve seen dolls that can be voice-controlled and some that can even communicate with you. Mind-blowing, isn’t it? Some of these dolls now come with AI personal assistants, too, allowing you to talk to them and they can even suggest to you activities like dinner dates or a night out movie. Crazy stuff!
And for users who want a more ‘hands-on’ experience, there are remote control devices that let you control the doll’s movements. You can make them move, sit, stand, and even pose on command.
The sex doll industry is changing at a breakneck pace. Who knows what revolutionary products are on their way next? I am kinda excited to find out!
